This Chateau La Croix Caperot has a barrel maturation of 12-18 months. It is a blend of 75 Merlot, Carbernet Franc 20 and Sabernet Sauvignon 5. You immediately smell the typical properties of Merlot: black and red fruit, liquorice and spiciness. The same accents return in the mouth but we also notice the fresh, lively and fascinating accents of the Cabernet duet.
