We love challenges. And the royalty-inspired wedding decorations at Paramount Hotel was just what we were craving. And we were doubly happy to get this venue. It is highly luxurious in itself with stunning panoramic sea views. The wedding which took place in three days had three different décor themes. The central theme of the entire wedding event was Gatsby that is inspired by the gone back era.
Enchanting White and Gold Floral Decor
For the first event of the wedding, we picked white and gold to be the ruling colours for that day. We designed gold coloured vases, candle stands, cushions and platters. We chose to decorate them with white flowers like Calla Lilies, Hydrangeas, Phalaenopsis, Roses, Baby’s Breath, Lisianthuses accessorized with white pearls and feathers. We picked these flowers because they are perfect in terms of creating a mystifying, vintage scene against the backdrop of the sea view of the venue.
Royal and Classy Shades
The second day, the day of the Sangeet ceremony, saw us livening up the place with purples, pinks and silvers. We used flowers like purple and pink Hydrangeas, Vanda Orchids, Lilacs and purple Roses, Carnations, Lisianthuses, Alliums and Mauve Anthuriums. We placed these flowers in tall mirrored goblet vases at various places inside the venue. The tables all throughout the venue looked like a dream. This was all done by keeping the tone of the platters, table-tops, napkins and napkin rings, and t-light glass candles silver. The chairs along with purple and silver textured tablecloth added the final wow touch.
The Royal Red Floral Decor
And finally, for the wedding day, we had the rich and royal vibe of the event in mind. Our aim was to make this big day richer and more extravagant than the events of the previous two days. So our obvious colour choices were reds, clarets, burgundy and gold. And the flowers we picked were Red Hydrangeas, Roses, Calla Lilies, Carnations, Red Hypericum Berries, and Red Lilies.
The Splendid Wedding Mandap
The mandap is the centre of attention during a wedding. And so was our flower decoration on it! We adorned the mandap with a wide garland around the top frame that featured four corners of floral clusters. Drapes of gold sheer voile and crystal strands sprinkled some more splendour. The royalty inspired inverted crown chandelier from the centre complemented the look and at the same time uplifted the entire setup.
Not just the mandap, the entire venue on that day simply stood out. We placed hanging glass baubles with red roses. We used compact floral table tops with shorter golden vessels and candle-stands. To complement the deep red palette we used golden platters with the mirrored centre, gold pedestals, napkin rings, chairs, opulent red and gold table textiles.
