They say the days leading up to your wedding leave a vibrant mark on you. No wonder couples these days go all out in making their pre-wedding functions just as astounding as the wedding itself. With a little grandeur and a whole lot of charm, these events set the tone for a lifetime of fun and love to follow.
Interflora took upon a project in Cochin and vowed to embellish the couple’s myriad functions with creative ideas and an even more exemplary execution. Let’s deep dive into the many events that gave the head start to this two-day celebration of love.
Welcoming the Guests
No matter the event, the onset should be studded with optimism and cheer. The reason why we picked red, maroon and orange hues to get started. And placed an artsy organic floral arrangement to greet the guests. Truly a picture-perfect spot.
Bridal Mehendi
As the bride sat there with her hands full of henna, the evening was brimming with hues of orange and yellow. The idea was to craft a laidback yet opulent affair where the inner circle aka the close family members could enjoy a day of happiness.
Haldi
The event was an extra special one. Haldi, known for its healing and purifying properties is applied on the bride and groom’s face and body to kickstart their journey together. For this, the couple chose A Hearty Lunch as their theme and the team made sure that the decor was truly heartful with an organic and traditional South Indian aesthetic.
The stage was decorated as a floral garden with Shola and Banana trees and was complemented by large blooming installations, brassware clusters and South Indian kela patta floral centerpieces.
Florals used – Tuberoses, Wheat and Bajra grass, Banana & supari flower, Paan, Supari, Elaichi and whole Banana bunches.
Poolside Brunch
No wedding affair is complete without a fun-filled brunch that offers distinct memories. The theme for the day was A Mexican Party. To pair the vibe with the decor, the Interflora team went ahead and created an organic look with bright-hued cluster designs of coloured leaves, tropical flowers and evergreen succulents. It was love at first sight.
Sangeet and After Party
While the evening was adorned with glam and glitz, the celebrations continued with song and dance. The theme for the evening, Sparkling Stars of the Night was brought to life with elegant and alluring decor choices. Think retro props, a sleek and monochromatic look, organic floral arrangements and classic structures.
