“If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.”
– Frances Hodgson Burnett
Tanya and Adhiraj held their wispy, fairytale wedding in Delhi. Being from a Punjabi family, they wanted an intimate yet awe-inspiring ceremony. What’s young love without the feeling of a thousand butterflies fluttering around in your tummy, eh? The Mehendi event was an escapade to their lovely farm-house away from the hustle and bustle of the city to celebrate love and togetherness. It was lavishly green all around gleaming with the golden hue from one hundred and fifty chandeliers. It looked as if nature had taken over a historic structure and turned it into a celebration for the young couple in love.
Soothing Hues: Every couple dreams to have a spectacular wedding ceremony, to incorporate floral elegance into that is the work of a true artist. To celebrate the Tanya and Adhiraj Mehndi ceremony, their farm-house had been turned into a mystical forest with hanging ferns creating a labyrinth of romance; complemented by many white Gypso, Eucalyptus, Solidago, Ruscus, Santini, white Daisies, Hydrangea, Lisianthus and filler greens, the venue had come alive with lush, soothing hues.
Leaving a Trail of Love: One of the most stunning sights at the ceremony was of the spectacular Table Runners leaving a trail of grandeur. One glance at them couldn’t have satisfied the longing to feel it with the warmth of the hands. The long Table Runners were put to steal the show and they did justice to their purpose.
Golden Hour: In order to depict the most romantic time of the day – the sunset, to bring in the touch of the twilight hues, there were numerous luminescent glass light globes to disperse a cast of the golden hour.
Thrones Amidst Nature: The seating arrangement for the couple was done with utmost floral sophistication; a little inspiration drawn from the Hawaiian islands and a lot of floral drama created a beautiful and lush arena where love and togetherness took a stand.
The overall theme was to come in peace with nature; added soft touches with flowers, the textures and layers were lively green to advocate a fresh and soothing atmosphere. The space was further accentuated with candles, crystal chandeliers, and custom vases to amplify the ambiance.
Envisioned by Tanya and Adhiraj, the event had been a dream come true just like a fairytale out of a book executed by the expert stylists of Interflora.
